Job Title:
Senior Accountant – Alpine
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Accounting to join our Northern Europe Hub finance team, in charge of the Alpine market and reporting directly to the NEC Accounting Lead. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the market day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and optimization of financial processes with special focus on the Austrian market. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the NEC Accounting Lead, the Alpine Business Controller, the region finance community to drive financial excellence and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and consolidate month-end close across multiple entities Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements Monitor AR/AP aging and support cash flow optimization Ensure accurate balance sheet oversight and strong internal controls Oversee tax filings in Austria (VAT, CIT, WHT) and coordinate with tax advisors Lead statutory accounting and manage external audit processes Prepare and manage transfer pricing documentation Identify and implement process improvements and best practices Collaborate across finance functions (R2R, S2P, I2C) and foster a team-oriented environment Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven experience in a senior accounting role, ideally across multiple markets Strong knowledge of Austrian accounting and tax regulations Experience in statutory accounting and transfer pricing Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Fluency in German and English;
additional European languages are a plus
