Senior Staff Product Definition Engineer (f/m/div)

We develop and manufacture the essential high voltage power electronic products for traction and all other high-voltage systems in electric cars. Be part of product development projects for discrete products targeting on board charger applications
* Develop and coordinate projects in the area of performance benchmarking of our product performance in the application
* Drive activities from design-in to design-win at lead automotive customers developing charger applications used in electric vehicles
* Conduct intensive technical discussions with the customer, coordinate requirements and support successful product validation in system design
* Manage uncertainties in early development phases and contribute with solid assumptions to drive innovative solutions forward
* Closely collaborate with our regional field application (FAE) engineering teams
* A degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, physics or a related field
* At least 5 years of professional experience in the power electronics (automotive, industrial, consumer) in the semiconductor industry or at a research institute (e.g. in Application Engineering, System Engineering, Hardware Development, Technical Marketing)
* Know-how in the creation of collaterals such as technical articles, presentations containing complex technical content and addressing solutions
* Practical experience in working as a project team member
* Very good communication and presentation skills in English, German as a plus
