C#/AWS Cloud Security Developer

  • Support an agile team of developers to implement security controls in critical applications as per the organisation’s cybersecurity strategy in line with the costumers Security Project
  • Participate in the on-going migration of our application portfolio from a shared AWS account to an AWS multi-account setup by securing infrastructure components and supporting application teams in the migration
  • Design and implement secure infrastructure for the AWS-centric cloud application portfolio and digital/data platforms
  • Work with the Market Data IT team as a subject matter expert
  • Share security knowledge with the team through upskilling activities
  • Engage with IT Security related forums and workgroups, as well as Infrastructure and Cyber Security teams to help increase cohesion across the organisation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate security practices into BAU IT operations, ensuring the adoption of DevSecOps principles to proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities
    • Focus on: hands-on C# development. Security-experience, AWS, English-speaking
    • Substantial experience with Threat Modelling; able to champion this as an approach and can introduce this into the team
    • Strong general knowledge regarding security topics such as Posture management, Identity and Access management (IAM) and Security incident, event management (SIEM) and S-SDLC, Vulnerability Management
    • Experience in backup and recovery model
    • Background experience of C# would be helpful
    • Demonstratable experience in the design and implementation of secure applications in the AWS cloud, including cloud-native solutions
    • Experience in the design and developer implementation of security mechanisms for AWS cloud environments and digital/data platforms
    • Demonstratable experience in leading or guiding professional software development teams on best practices along the complete S-SDLC from secure design all the way to secure release and operations
    • Practical and theoretical understanding of DevSecOps and Secure CI/CD for technology stacks including Containers, IaC, SAST/DAST/IAST, Vulnerability Management etc.
    • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management, including Privileged Access Management, Modern Authentication and Single Sign-On (SSO), preferably around Azure AD
