YARA Environmental Technologies takes Yara’s mission to “protect the planet” seriously. Our systems clean the air and protect the planet through the delivery of NOx abatement systems for a wide range of power plants and stationary industrial processes. We develop and supply equipment for cleaning exhaust gases from industrial plants and support Yara in implementing decarbonization, efficiency enhancement and optimization projects.
The YARA Environmental Technologies unit has the stability and security that comes from being part of a major international corporation, while offering opportunities to experience a variety of plant engineering tasks in an agile team. This "Stationary" unit within Yara Industrial Solutions global function employs around 100 people in Austria, China/Taiwan, Germany, India and Poland.
The role
We are now recruiting an experienced and motivated “Commercial Project Manager (f/m/d)” to enhance our team. The role is made for a great communicator, someone able and eager to build good connections with customers, contractors and colleagues alike. You have the accountability, ambition and competence required to deliver first-class projects from a commercial point of view.
Responsibilities
- Commercial processing and execution of customer contracts, vendor contracts and of consortium partners
- Negotiation of commercial contract terms with suppliers
- Order/invoice management (SAP) together with controlling/accounting and the project team
- Regulation of business issues such as terms and conditions, invoicing, payment terms, financing and bank guarantees, insurance, settlement of accounts receivable, etc.
- Commercial responsibility of the project together with the project manager and lead engineer (core team)
- Risk/opportunity management
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or commercial education (FH/Uni)
- Professional experience (> 3 years) in a responsible function of a commercial project manager
- High level of commercial understanding coupled with good negotiating skills
- Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset
- Good knowledge of MS-Office products and SAP
- Professional written and spoken English is required, plus knowledge of German is preferable
- Versatile activities in a lively and future-oriented industry
- Flexible working conditions incl. home office regulation

Your office base will be Vienna in Austria. Depending on qualifications and experience, we are willing to significantly compensate over and above the valid collective agreement.
