  • Operating and maintaining open-source Apache Kafka eco-system for enterprise-wide implementation both on-prem and Azure cloud environment
  • Working with Kafka broker, zookeeper, Kafka connect, Kstreams, KSQL, Mirror Maker, Schema Registry, KafkaSecurity
  • Working with Azure Cloud, Linux operating system, scripting knowledge (such as Python, YAML, Bash)
    • Experience in working with monitoring & alerting for Kafka eco-system with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk, Log Analytics
    • Knowledge of Kerberos, authorization tools, auditing tools for cluster
    • Experience in migrating data from one Kafka platform to another
    • Knowledge with Aiven Kafka, Confluent Kafka, Cloudera Kafka
