Account Executive

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Account Executive to join our Corporate team in Brisbane on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role will assist Senior brokers within the team in all aspects of client servicing including managing client portfolios, administration, technical support and business development.

Ideally, the candidate will have prior knowledge within the insurance broking or underwriting sector; but most importantly, a passion to learn and an eye for detail.

We will count on you to:

• Support Senior and Principal Account Broker's with portfolio management;
• Assist with the development, implementation and management of risk management and insurance programs which accurately address client needs
• Establishing, developing and maintaining long term relationships with key decision makers
• Ability to acquire and maintain an awareness of the client's business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers
• Identifying products which benefit the client and meet their needs
• Timely and accurate processing of invoices, policy accounting information, quotations, premium calculations, policy wording, certificates of currency and all other documentations;
• Liaising and negotiating with clients, underwriters and claims managers;
• Develop and maintain a basic technical understanding of relevant classes of insurance and specialist services which the company offers to its clients.

What you need to have:

• 1-2years experience in the insurance industry 
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Motivation for client service and solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft office.
