About the role

Infoxchange is leading a cross-sector partnership to build the capability of the not-for-profit sector through the Digital Transformation Hub (the Hub) which provides tailored resources to help more than 10,000 organisations each year leverage digital technologies and amplify their impact.

The Hub is an integrated set of web-based Digital Guides, training materials (webinars/online learning courses) and expert advice.

This role is responsible for supporting sector capability development projects and supporting the maintenance of Hub guides and capability assessment/ recommendations.

The role reports directly to the Digital Transformation Manager.

You will:

  • Provide practical technology advice through individual consultations, mentoring and webinars to non-profits across technology domains that include:
    • Tech foundations for NFPs - PCs, network, servers, telephony, email, file sharing and collaboration infrastructure
    • NFP Applications – corporate and service delivery systems including include finance, HR, client/ case management and CRMs
    • Data & Analytics for NFPs – data tools, infrastructure, analytics and reporting to measure activities, outputs, impacts and outcomes
    • Digital marketing for NFPs – website, social media, electronic Direct Marketing and fundraising
    • IT management for NFPs – IT strategy/planning, budgeting, governance and business continuity
    • Artificial Intelligence for NFPs– to unlock the power of AI for enhanced NFP impact while mitigating the associated risks in an increasingly complex marketplace
    • Cyber security protections for NFPs – protect information from online threats and accidental disclosure
    • Online cyber safety for vulnerable communities – educate vulnerable community groups how two protect themselves from cyber security risks and common online scams, enabling people to feel safer and more confident online.
  • Support the design and delivery of programs that build the capability of NFP staff across the Asia Pacific region.
  • Undertake activities including requirements analysis, report writing, data analysis, solution design, and training.

About you

To succeed in this role at Infoxchange, you will demonstrate:

  • Skilled at data analysis, with Excel and preferably tools like Microsoft Power BI
  • Ability to provide assistance across different non-profit technology domains, including at least one or two of:
    1. Microsoft 365, user devices and IT infrastructure
    2. Systems selection
    3. Data & analytics
    4. Cyber security
  • Ability to undertake structured analyses in a logical and efficient manner
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent written communication skills, including contributing or leading writing business reports and recommendations.
  • Strong verbal communications skills, with proven experience supporting IT managers and executives
  • Comfortable working autonomously and in a self-managed way, using initiative to draw on the expertise of those around you
  • Good awareness of NFP technology challenges and passionate about the sector
  • Experience in presenting to audiences
  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field
