Shopper Marketing Manager

Mars Petcare has an exciting opportunity for a Shopper Marketing Manager to join us on a nine-month contract. The Shopper Marketing Manager is responsible for maximising shopper conversion through the execution of compelling frictionless and increasingly personalised shopper experiences at scale, that convert more transactions along the path to purchase.  This will successfully be achieved through the Triple Win mindset, Winning the Value Proposition, The Consumer Journey, and Evaluating Impact.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and/or Marketing

  • 3-5 Years’ experience in Shopper, Sales and/or Marketing, for Fast Moving Consumer Good Industries

  • Good shopper marketing experience in a brand or retail environment with deep understanding of Campaigns Execution

  • Proven track record in Project Management, with excellent planning and process management skills

  • Ability to incorporate analytical skills, creative thinking, and strong communication into every task

What will be your key responsibilities·

  • Excellence in Execution: Focus on strategic choices to execute the customer journey fully, on time, and to a high standard. Leverage insights, retailer assets, and JBPs to deploy the activation calendar, develop sell stories, drive brand equity, and increase conversions. Work with agencies to adapt plans, evaluate ROI, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Ensure Quality Growth: Recommend decisions to Customer Leads, adapt Marketing Plans with retailers, and optimize growth and profitability. Lead Retail Media planning and execution, leveraging shopper insights and creating full plans that maximize retailer platforms and Brand Assets.

  • Start of Pet Parenthood Campaigns: Collaborate with sales and brand teams to develop and execute recruitment and pet parenthood activations, NPD toolkits and selling tools that deliver increased customer lifetime value.

  • Trade Conferences: Work with Sales and Marketing Leaders to develop and execute conference objectives, themes, and display stands in line with brand objectives and key battles.

  • Premiumisation: Link portfolio profitability with activation plans to convert and retain shoppers.
