XLR8 offers year round football development programs for community footballers within the NSFA, facilitated by professional and experienced coaches.

About the Roles:

We are looking for coaches to provide a rewarding environment focused on the development of individual and team skills for players of all ages and abilities.

Our coaches will provide people of all ages and abilities access to high quality and appropriate development opportunities centered around our holistic domains (Technical, Tactical, Physical, Social, Psychological). 

Our aims for our coaches are for them to raise the standard of football in the NSFA, to deliver player pathways into the Northern Tigers and to strengthen engagement at NSFA Community Clubs to help us grow and develop football in the district.

XLR8 coaches work on a casual/part time basis, working hours between 4pm – 9pm on weekdays. Weekend morning availability is desirable. Each coach is asked to provide a minimum of 6 – 10 hours a week of available time. Additional hours are available for suitable candidates.

Criteria:

We would like coaches who have experience coaching within SAP (Skill Acquisition Phase U8-U12), Youth Football (U13-U18) or Senior Football (U18+) coaches to join our team. 

People who are deeply passionate about football & coaching would be well suited to joining our coaching team. 

Essential

  • Experience coaching Under 8 - Senior players
  • Hold a current Coaching Accreditation - Advanced Diploma or Community Certificate
  • Enthusiasm towards coaching, with excellent communication & personal skills

  • Strong football knowledge and understanding of coaching processes.
