Swimming Instructor - Casual

  • Salary: $34.98 per hour (includes casual loading)
  • Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)

Craigie Leisure Centre is looking for enthusiastic Swimming Instructors to join their dynamic and progressive team.

The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering swimming lessons for the Craigie Leisure Centre Learn to Swim program and providing a high level of customer service to our swim students and customers. If you are an energetic team player with swimming instruction experience, then this is the role for you.

Applications need to provide an overview of your experience and address the following: 

  • Experience delivering swimming lessons.
  • Ability to demonstrate correct swimming technique.
  • Experience working in a service environment dealing with customers, members and the general public.
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate, or equivalent.
  • Eagerness to extend knowledge through additional qualifications e.g. Infant and Preschool Aquatics, Teacher of Adults, Access and Inclusion etc.
