Let's talk about this role

As the Senior Actuarial Manager, you be a key leader in the actuarial vision for Australian Residents Health Insurance (arhi), partnering with the business to shape strategy and drive performance.

The role provides key inputs and leadership to the arhi gross profit budget/forecast process, and the actuarial stream of the annual pricing and product change - providing insights, data and commentary on drivers of change to influence the business towards a better outcome.

The position provides trusted actuarial advice and an informed, data-driven, risk-aware voice within the ever-changing business environment to guide the business to execute for success.

Let's talk about you

The successful candidate will have a Fellowship qualification of the IA Aust or equivalent. Experience working within the Private Health Insurance industry is essential to the success of this role.

With passion for enabling timely decision making, based on data driven insights, your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills will see you set up to succeed in this senior leadership position.

Furthermore, we're looking for:
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Advanced financial modelling, programming and Excel skill
  • Experienced with change-heavy environments or project setting
  • Driven to innovate and pursue continuous improvement in all aspects of role
