About the team - If you are the successful candidate, you will work in a small delivery team using agile ways of working and a double diamond approach. The Digital Services team works collaboratively across several product teams developing services and experiences for both ASC and sport.

About the role - The ASC’s Business Analysts are responsible for leading engagement with stakeholders to capture business requirements and develop pragmatic designs for digital-enabled solutions, including the review, analysis and evaluation of system and user needs for teams across the ASC. In consultation with team managers, Business Analysts will implement the organisational strategic agenda to achieve business outcome, including:

  • Communicate and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to capture and translate business requirements.
  • Propose innovative and more efficient business process approaches using structured methods.
  • Coordinate with project teams and project stakeholders
  • Model options and present summarised analysis to senior manager sponsors - make recommendations, champion innovative solutions to achieve ASC outcomes.
  • Support Scrum Masters to develop work breakdown structures, schedules and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with Developers and Testers to develop solution acceptance plans, test plans and data migration approaches as part of holistic project services.
  • Support technology and digital investment planning process using agile methodology.

About you - We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals with a proven track record of driving collaboration across business groups, eliciting and capturing business requirements and develop pragmatic designs for digital-enabled solutions. The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or business experience agile methodologies, including Human Centred Design.
  • Experience working in structured methods & techniques.
  • Experience working with DevOps, Dynamics 365 and/or SCRUM or Agile methodologies is desirable.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to develop innovative solutions, translating these into fit-for-purpose designs and approaches.
  • Strong awareness of digital strategy, platforms and governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate dynamically and persuasively in both written and face-to-face communication.

There is an ONGOING and a FIXED TERM position available. The Fixed Term position is available for 12 months with the possibility of being extended or made ongoing.
