We have an exciting role for a strategic Procurement Category Manager to join our Property Management business working with our major client – Charter Hall Industrial portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Director, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle management and supplier performance management with a focus on Hard Services in Facilities Management.

The Opportunity

  • Develop and assist with the implementation of strategies and solutions to optimise building operations and maintenance costs across the industrial portfolio

  • Responsibility for the management of new and existing contract life cycles and negotiations of suppliers

  • Deliver agile procurement models, operational efficiencies and high value outcomes that deliver sustainable long – term savings

  • Assist with contract and scope development, administration of contracts, ensuring supplier performance and contract compliance

  • Manage preferred supplier agreement tenders and provide tender analysis

  • Monitor and manage vendor performance and service delivery including KPI reporting

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in Engineering Procurement Category / Contract management

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification in engineering/property or procurement

  • Sound knowledge and competent in application of Statutory Legislation imposing or affecting property operations and building including the Modern Slavery Act 2018

  • A proven track record in negotiating and delivering Procurement contracts of over $10M in annual spend

  • An ability to communicate, negotiate and influence across with a broad range of stakeholders and build strong working relationship
