Your Role
To influence and support the profitable growth of the P&C division by actively supporting the operational business teams and contributing to the future strategic development of the Casualty and Financial Lines portfolios.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide high quality and timely actuarial advice to the P&C Commercial Fire and Strata management teams and the Senior P&C Actuaries and Chief Actuary.
• Lead and perform portfolio reviews. Present to a wide range of internal stakeholders including senior management and front line business and helping to formula business strategy.
• Lead and perform pricing projects and rating algorithm development for key portfolios
• Lead and perform pricing and performance reviews for key scheme and portfolio opportunities
• Lead and perform portfolio monitoring projects, including enhancement of the monitoring framework sophistication.
• Promote innovation through constantly improving current processes with an automation focus.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience

• Qualified actuary with minimum 5 years of experience in general insurance.
• Strong business knowledge and communication capabilities
• Solid foundation in applying advanced statistical and data mining techniques to solving business problems
• Ability to manage competing projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to work with key internal and external stakeholders on all projects
• Experience with SQL, Python or R; EMBLEM, RADAR highly desirable
