As the Aircraft Maintenance (AM) Trimmer you will be responsible for the manufacture and repair of aircraft and component trimming and furnishings, including but not limited to; aircraft interior furnishings and ULD straps and curtains.  You will be working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.

You’ll have –

  • Completed Certificate III in Automotive and Marine Trimming Technology (AQF AUR32320) or equivalent.

  • An appropriate Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in a field directly related to industrial, engineering, manufacturing, transport/automotive maintenance or repair disciplines.

  • Relevant Aircraft Maintenance experience is desirable, but not essential.

  • Previous relevant experience with interior trimming.

  • Proven ability to work within tight tolerances requiring a high degree of precision and accuracy.

  • Ability to complete all documentation and reporting requirements to a high standard.

  • Taken ownership and driven outcomes to meet business requirements.

  • Compliance and safety focus, adhering to all safe working practices and service standards.

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures.

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.

  • Commitment to being customer focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required.

  • A working knowledge of computers and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Highly developed attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated highly ethical behaviour standards and self-discipline.

  • Ability to work shift work: 4 on 4 off roster across a 7-day period.
