Looking for a new customer service career. Then join us as a Relay Officer, your passion for doing good for people will help you bond with customers and your team. You will actively listen and provide a great customer experience through text and phone-based communication.

Key Role Details:

• Start date 2nd April 2024
• Stability of permanent part-time roles
• 2 weeks full time paid training
• Operating hours, Ballarat Delivery Centre: 7am to 11pm
• $24.87 + penalty and superannuation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a solution for people who are deaf or have a hearing or speech difficulties.
• Responsible for frontline customer service accessible to all users by methods such as telephone, TTY, email, fax and SMS and any other means available.
• Extend excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Ability to deal with highly confidential information, including sensitive situations.
• The ability to engage and build rapport with customers/clients over a wide-ranging demographic.

• A genuine interest in helping people
• Computer literacy
• Strong command of the English language both verbal and written
• Adaptability and resilience
• Attention to detail
