Your Role

As the Pricing Specialist for our Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA) division, you'll work on initiatives to determine and deliver the pricing strategies for personal lines products in Australia, to deliver on brand strategies and profit targets. You'll be part of a broader pricing community that designs the strategic pricing algorithm, builds the technical pricing models, and develops the go-to-market pricing and implementations.

The focus of this role will be recommending go-to-market pricing strategies for personal lines products, utilising the technical models built but the technical pricing teams and overlaying strategic and commercial considerations.

This role is a permanent, full-time position based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

About You

• Demonstrated experience in General Insurance Pricing or Actuarial.
• Strong proficiency coding in SAS & R
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects independently and manage delivery risks
• Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to present and discuss complex information, analysis and findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Tertiary qualifications in a numerical or analytical discipline i.e. Actuarial, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field with demonstrated experience.
