What You Will Do

As the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, you will support the Director of F&B in overseeing the daily operations of the F&B department. Your role is crucial in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing talents, optimizing profitability, and maintaining high standards of F&B quality and service.

  • Assist in planning and supervising all F&B operations.

  • Develop and implement beverage strategies to achieve business goals and enhance guest satisfaction.

  • Manage beverage inventory levels and costs, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.

  • Oversee stocktaking discrepancies, conducting thorough investigations and ensuring monthly critical line checks across all outlets.

  • Manage dead stock to ensure it is utilized where feasible, recommending products/menu offerings to better manage beverage costs.

  • Conduct quarterly beverage menu engineering.

  • Monitor inventory levels and control costs by minimizing waste and theft.

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menu selections for special events and daily dining.

  • Oversee the scheduling and training of F&B talent to ensure a motivated and efficient team.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts for food, beverage, equipment, and supplies.

  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback regarding F&B services promptly and professionally.

  • Implement procedures and protocols to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

  • Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, financial forecasts, and reports for the F&B department.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new menu items, and innovations in F&B service.

  • Support the Director of Food and Beverage in achieving revenue and profit goals.
