Senior Account Executive



What can you expect?

Your role is to manage a portfolio of large to medium sized accounts, ensuring high quality customer service is always provided. The portfolio includes working in support of a Principal & National Manager on group purchasing and servicing of clients across general lines of insurance.

Consistently attain set revenue and expense budgets. Implement Client First Principles across the portfolio of clients.

We will count on you to:

  • Meet and exceed service standards agreed in the clientâs service agreement.
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue and expense budgets; Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers and frequently monitor political, management and other changes within the client organisations to preserve and protect the Company's relationship with the client.
  • Take a pro-active approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards; (Client First Principles).
  • Implement successful account retention and defence strategies.
  • Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim related matters and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Engage with and manage all internal stakeholders in delivering âall of Marshâ to your client base.



What you need to have:

  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance qualification.
  • 3+ yearsâ experience in a similar role.
  • Sound knowledge and application of broking principles, insurance products and service. These apply to general insurance products and services.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Intermediate skills on Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Developed negotiation skills.
