Since 1998, International Hotel Services has been servicing housekeeping needs of many hotels in the Hospitality industry.

Over the years our company has grown as a result of our outstanding reputation of caring for our employees and we are now looking for new team members to join us as:

This position involves the management of a 5 star hotel in Surfers Paradise. You will have sound knowledge of all facets of housekeeping operations; have strong administrative abilities and be able to effectively roster, order, stock control and provide staff development and training.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage the room attendants and common area cleaners
  • Work alongside the client's management to plan and execute multiple housekeeping requirements.
  • Establishing and implementing operational procedures and standards.
  • Managing the hiring of, rostering and performance of employees.
  • Training and mentoring your team.
  • Planning and coordinating the activities of the housekeeping team.
  • Inspecting all assigned areas to ensure standards are met and maintained.
What you will bring:
  • A Professional attitude.
  • Extensive leadership experience
  • Previous experience in a previous position.
  • A hands-on approach to work.
  • Drivers License is a must for this position
  • Previous experience in a Hotel environment is essential
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including early mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays
