We are looking for someone to lead the charge as an Operations Manager in WA for a growing and forward-thinking vending operator looking to expand their reach.
About Us
We are one of Australia's largest vending operators, headquartered in Melbourne, taking a radical approach to vending machines. Gone are the days of clunky, beat-up vending machines that don't work properly half the time; our vending machines redefine what the average consumer expects from a vending machine. With their premium design, extensive product ranges, and - above all – impeccable customer service, our machines are making new waves in the unattended retail space.
With over ten years of experience, we are one of Australia's largest vending operators and one of the pioneers of micro markets in Australia (if you haven't heard of a micro market before, check out agoramarkets.com.au, think unmanned convenience store). Our aim is to constantly innovate while still offering the best possible service to our clients.
About the Role
While we have a small presence in WA already, we are looking to seriously expand our business in the state. We want someone to spearhead this expansion while running our WA fleet of vending machines and micro markets.
The ideal candidate would be able to handle a wide range of responsibilities while also getting their hands dirty out in the field. Seeking out new vending machine and micro market locations, dealing with clients, hiring new staff, as well as going out and refilling and servicing vending machines/micro markets would all be part of a day on the job.
Being comfortable working independently is essential as the business headquarters will be located in Victoria. While support will always be available, someone who is willing to take the lead and work autonomously will be highly regarded.
The role will entail working from home, in the office, as well as on the road visiting current and prospective clients.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Liaising with vending machine/micro market clients
- Managing and setting up vending machine/micro market locations
- Refilling and servicing micro markets/vending machines
- Scouting potential micro market and vending machine locations
- Uphold an inclusive and supportive company culture
- Manage staff members and hire new staff as needed
About you
