Urban Renters Agent provides an end-to-end service to renters that are moving within or relocating to Brisbane. Our team is made up of experienced property managers and licensed real estate agents who are using their skills and knowledge to assist the renter through the initial process of securing a rental and settling them into their new home. The best thing about working as a renter's agent is that your advice, knowledge, and service are always appreciated by the client, and your contributions are acknowledged by our team. The challenge working in this space is that you can't control the market nor the availability of stock when you are working to the client's strict timeline.

This role is most suited to a Brisbane local - an experienced Property Manager that would like a role reversal - to apply their knowledge and experience to helping the renter instead of the landlord. We only specialise in the initial relocation - we do not advocate for the renter throughout the lease term.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have a current Real Estate Licence or Certificate
  • Driver's Licence and your own vehicle required
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the real estate industry required, specifically in property management
  • This role is available on either a contract basis or part-time with the view to becoming full-time

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Communicating daily with both clients and real estate agents in the search for suitable rental properties
  • Inspecting properties with the view to capturing detail that is relevant to the decision-making process for the client
  • Applying your skills as a property manager to help the renter through the process of Tenancy Application and verification
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to complete a Condition Report - this includes good attention to detail
  • Interpreting and understanding the renter's requirements and applying these to both online and off-market searches and physical property inspections
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • As with most Real Estate roles, Saturday work is a requirement
  • Knowledge of Brisbane, its regions, and a fair understanding of market rent in each area
  • Confidence and the ability to build your own network of agents that will assist you in representing our clients
