The Opportunity:
If you have a background in radiography, nursing or implantable medical device sales coupled with clinical case support and live within 40 minutes of the territory, then this role is tailored to your expertise.
Reporting to the Area Business Manager – Vascular, Aortic, the purpose of this role is to help our team achieve/exceed vascular sales targets for Victoria (Melbourne Central & West) through the development of long-term positive customer relationships, which build confidence and loyalty in Cook Australia as a preferred supplier.
You will be joining a high performing, energetic sales team in the support of Vascular procedures, such as Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR). This is in addition to coordinating and delivering in-service education sessions to Vascular Surgeons, Vascular Trainees, and other Health Professionals. A dedicated training program will be provided.
The Key Accountabilities:
- Promote a complete range of Vascular products to Vascular Surgeons, nursing staff, purchasing and supply managers in the designated territory.
- Develop and maintain ongoing strong customer relationships to be the most recommended Vascular partner.
- Monitor and support consignment within company guidelines.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in appropriate areas including competitive clinical information.
- Demonstrate the ability to be an active team member with a collaborative and encouraging approach to achieving team goals and objectives.
- Analyse sales reports to identify business opportunities.
- Be accountable for meeting or exceeding the sales forecast, run a profitable territory and identify and execute sales opportunities.
- Provide procedural and product support within a theatre environment.
What we need from you:
- Tertiary qualification in science, business, biomedical science, nursing or radiography.
- Proven success in a medical device or pharmaceutical sales role.
- Energetic, self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality service and business profit.
- Excellent time management, planning and organising skills essential.
- Ability to work comfortably in a theatre/clinical environment.
- Some interstate travel may be a requirement of this role.
- Due to the inherent requirements of this role, evidence of vaccinations for relevant vaccine preventable diseases as well as COVID-19 vaccination relevant to the territory and the ability to maintain vaccination status essential.
- Satisfactory police check essential.
- WWC (Working with Children) certificate or the ability to obtain one essential.
