High School Science Teacher

ICSV is currently seeking a qualified High School Science Teacher to teach IB Chemistry and other science courses for the 2025/2026 school year.

The primary responsibility of the teacher is to carry out professional duties and responsibilities by providing instruction in Science. He/she will be in charge of day-to-day work, class management, and the safety and welfare of the students while promoting the aims and objectives of the school.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Science Education with an emphasis on Chemistry
  • Current ACSI certificate with coursework in education, or ability to obtain
  • Teaching experience/training in the US system preferred
  • State or national teacher certification preferred
  • IB experience preferred (or willingness to be trained in teaching IBDP Chemistry)
  • Overseas/Cross-cultural experience preferred
  • Prior classroom teaching experience preferred
  • Willingness to commit to two years
