The Role:
As Dispatch Supervisor, you'll oversee all aspects of dispatch operations at our Carbrook factory and Loganholme warehouse. You'll lead a team of six dispatch operators, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment while maintaining strict safety, quality, and budget standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate ERP systems to manage dispatch operations
- Analysing orders from customer service and identifying any potential issues before they arise
- Lead and supervise dispatch teams across two locations
- Coordinate with customer service, inventory, and trade center teams
- Drive lean practices and efficiency improvements
- Manage KPIs and investigate non-conformances
- Ensure compliance with dangerous goods regulations and chain of responsibility legislation
- Oversee stock management, including slow-moving and defective inventory
- Contribute to facilities maintenance and equipment management
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in logistics supervision or management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of dangerous goods handling and relevant regulations
- Experience with ERP systems and lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to drive continuous improvement in operations
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
