Join our team at Brisbane Catholic Education as Senior Advisor - Learning Technology. Work alongside our School Portal and/or BCE Connect product owners to advise on and lead projects to enhance Learning Technology solutions, ensuring alignment with Brisbane Catholic Education's strategic objectives. Identify opportunities to develop and implement modern, user-friendly digital solutions to improve communication, streamline administrative processes, and support the overall educational experience for students, parents, and staff.
About the role:
- Advise on and lead projects to enhance Learning Technology solutions (BCE Connect and/or School portals), ensuring alignment with BCE's strategic objectives.
- Identify opportunities and create modern, user-friendly digital solutions to improve communication, streamline administrative processes, and support the overall educational experience for students, parents, and staff.
- Provide strategic advice and lead projects to develop policy, influence direction, and improve organisational practices and procedures.
- Analyse data to positively challenge and negotiate perspectives on complex and strategic issues to deliver outcomes and make recommendations.
- Supervise a team to undertake detailed analysis on alternative courses of action to determine organisational and operational requirements.
- Develop strategies to provide sound advice to improve organisational performance by undertaking high-level reviews and investigations.
- Establish, build, and maintain internal and external relationships to share professional knowledge and expertise to deliver on business outcomes.
About you:
- Strong strategic thinking and project management skills to lead and enhance Brisbane Catholic Education Learning Technology Solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate and engage with various stakeholder groups and facilitate working group sessions to elicit and understand business requirements, and manage change processes.
- Ability to analyse data and provide advice to improve organisational performance and meet desired outcomes.
- Apply techniques to analyse and review day-to-day operations of information systems to support business continuity and improvement.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE), including safeguarding, Catholic faith, and promoting a supportive and respectful culture.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or previous experience in a similar position would be highly regarded but not essential.
- Current/valid Queensland Driver’s Licence, if required.
- Hold or be eligible to hold a Positive Notice Blue card for working with children.
- Have a commitment to Safeguarding The Archdiocese of Brisbane has standards of conduct for workers to maintain a safe and healthy environment for children. Our commitment to these standards requires that we conduct Working With Children (WWC) and background referencing for all persons who will engage in direct and regular involvement with children and young people and/or adults-at-risk.
