As our Despatch Administrator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing the despatch operations within our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate documentation, efficient scheduling of shipments, and seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the smooth flow of goods.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and schedule outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and export/import paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, and other third-party logistics providers to arrange transportation and track shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of despatch activities, including inventory levels and shipping logs.
- Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to prioritize orders and optimize despatch processes.
- Resolve despatch-related issues, such as shipping discrepancies or delivery delays, in a timely manner.
- Provide administrative support to the despatch team, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
About you:
- Previous experience in despatch coordination, logistics administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in preparing shipping documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs procedures (preferred but not required)
