We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated road-based Business Development Manager to join us as our sole representative in Perth and the Western Australia region.
In this role, you will be meeting with local architects, designers, and developers to showcase our world-class products, offering support from specification to project completion for their projects.
You will also work closely with trade professionals, including joiners, wallpaper installers, and door manufacturers, ensuring a smooth pre-sales process that covers product suitability, availability, pricing, and delivery lead times.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging presentations in boardrooms, showrooms, and at industry-related events. This role requires exceptional organisation skills to manage a busy schedule of workplace visits, product showcases, and client meetings to drive sales growth.
Additionally, you'll need to effectively manage the time zone differences with our Melbourne head office as well as adjusting quickly to changing client needs and situations.
About you- Highly self-motivated with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- A confident communicator and presenter, able to engage effectively with various audiences.
- Quick thinker, adaptable, and able to problem-solve on the go.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy, road-based schedule.
- Capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Significant experience in a similar role or industry is required.
- A valid driver's licence, with secure storage at home for product samples and sales materials. A company car will be provided.
- Product training will be provided; however, the ability to learn quickly and apply product knowledge is essential.
