At Wesfarmers Corporate Office, the HR team takes a collaborative approach to fostering a positive and engaging work environment by supporting team members at every stage of their journey. What you'll do

We are a small, tight knit team and as our subject matter expert, this role will see you taking the lead on developing and delivering the remuneration and benefits, HR systems and HR reporting functions for the Wesfarmers Corporate Office.

Key responsibilities include:

Remuneration and Benefits

  • Leading the delivery of some of our core workstreams including: the annual remuneration review program, the short- and long-term incentive programs as well as any other variable reward arrangements, the workforce planning and headcount budgeting process
  • Monitoring market trends and developing, recommending and implementing remuneration and benefits programs and practices that are attractive, competitive and commercially sensible
  • Ensuring appropriate governance of our remuneration and payroll practices in line with relevant frameworks
  • Maintaining the integrity of our job evaluation framework using the Korn Ferry methodology
  • Provide interpretation and advice regarding Remuneration and Benefits policies, programs, and practices, addressing and resolving specific queries or issues

Reporting

  • Develop and continuously improve internal and external reporting capabilities to provide leaders and the HR team with insights to support data-based decisions
  • Ensure data integrity is maintained and can be utilised to accurately complete internal and external reporting and data submissions

Systems

  • Provide hands-on support to maintain, configure and optimise our HR systems and platforms, so that we can fully leverage their capabilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise and enhance our HR current and/or implementation of new ones

What you'll need

  • Highly regarded Remuneration and Benefits specialist with a track record of optimising and leveraging HR systems
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering a broad range of remuneration activities such as annual remuneration reviews, variable remuneration plans, benchmarking, job evaluation methodologies (Korn Ferry) and salary surveys
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted, long-lasting relationships
  • Strong numeracy and data analytics skills with an ability to provide data driven insights
  • A problem solver by nature, you're happy to roll up your sleeves to consistently deliver value adding outcomes
  • Sharp business acumen and ability to think critically in order to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience in using Power Query would be an advantage)
