We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Allocator to join our team to optimise fleet operations, allocate resources efficiently and drive company growth. This is a pivotal role within the company and we are looking for someone who will be committed to this role with a professional can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the efficient allocation of jobs to drivers, ensuring effective communication with drivers, internal team members and customers on a day-to-day basis.
2. Maximise the efficient use of assets.
3. Performance manage all drivers.
4. Resolve any transportation-related concerns or delays that may arise during the course of business.
5. Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
6. Continuously evaluate and improve transportation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Skills and Requirements:

1. Allocation experience is essential as is a good working knowledge of Brisbane and Gold Coast suburbs.
2. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and meet deadlines.
3. Show initiative and take direction to achieve efficiency goals.
4. Ability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication - written and verbal.
5. Knowledge in the transport and logistics industry essential - experience in the waste and recycling industry is desirable.
6. Knowledge of Binwatch/Binmanager is desirable.
7. Basic Microsoft Office experience and clear communication skills.
8. A positive and energetic attitude.
9. The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, including a Drug and Alcohol Test.
