General Manager - Registered training Organisation (RTO) | 100% Remote | Lead Compliance & Growth
Clean Health Group is seeking a General Manager – RTO to lead and scale our nationally recognised training organisation, balancing compliance excellence with commercial growth. This role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who can drive operational efficiency, ensure 100% ASQA compliance, and maximise revenue opportunities, including optimising government funding streams.
You will take full ownership of RTO success, ensuring that regulatory integrity aligns with business growth while driving student engagement, funding optimisation, and digital transformation. You'll lead from the front, executing key strategies, problem-solving in real-time, and implementing AI-driven automation to enhance efficiency. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while leading a high-performance team to deliver outstanding student outcomes and commercial success.

We are now searching for a General Manager – RTO who can strike the perfect balance between compliance excellence and commercial growth. This role is about ensuring regulatory integrity while also scaling revenue, student engagement, and funding opportunities.
The Role
As our General Manager – RTO, you will take full ownership of RTO operations, ensuring we scale efficiently while maintaining 100% ASQA compliance. This is a hands-on execution role, requiring a leader who can navigate regulatory frameworks while identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities, including optimising funding sources.
This is a 100% remote role, offering flexibility while demanding a strategic yet action-oriented leader who can ensure compliance, boost revenue, and enhance student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Balance Compliance, Funding & Growth: Ensure 100% ASQA compliance while implementing strategies to drive 30% YoY revenue growth through funding streams and commercial enrolments.
- Strategic Compliance & Funding Leadership: Maintain a 98%+ audit success rate, ensuring seamless adherence to RTO regulations while securing maximum government funding allocations.
- Drive Student Success & Engagement: Implement AI-driven engagement tools, ensuring 90%+ student satisfaction and an 85%+ graduation rate, strengthening funding retention requirements.
- Maximise Government Funding & Revenue Growth: Optimise government funding applications, allocations, and collections, ensuring 100% of eligible students complete their programs to maintain funding continuity.
- Operational & Cost Efficiency: Reduce operational costs by 10% in Year 1, while enhancing automation and efficiency through digital tools to improve funding utilisation.
- Hands-on Problem Solving: Be the go-to problem solver, ensuring every aspect of the RTO runs smoothly, profitably, and within funding compliance guidelines.

- Proven RTO expert, with deep experience in ASQA compliance, funding models, and regulatory frameworks, including government funding processes.
- Commercially sharp, with a track record of driving revenue growth, optimising funding streams, and ensuring cost efficiency.
- Tech & automation-focused, with experience in AI-driven learning solutions, digital transformation, and student engagement automation to support funding retention requirements.
- A hands-on executor, who can lead, implement, and problem-solve, ensuring funding compliance and operational profitability without getting stuck in red tape.
- A strategic thinker, able to align compliance with funding growth opportunities while ensuring long-term operational success.
