Kaliba are on the lookout for an experienced penetration tester to take on a key role in our growing security team. Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct a wide range of penetration testing engagements, including web applications, internal networks, hardware, and more.
  2. Engage with clients to define project scope, set expectations, and ensure successful outcomes.
  3. Deliver clear, detailed reports outlining security risks and actionable remediation steps.
  4. Provide post-engagement support, ensuring clients understand and can address vulnerabilities.
  5. Contribute to the development of internal tools, processes, and methodologies.
  6. Stay ahead of industry trends, exploring new techniques, tools, and methodologies.
  7. Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client relationship management.
  8. Offer insights into the strategic direction of the business and its service offerings.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Strong background in penetration testing with experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
  2. Deep knowledge of pen testing methodologies (e.g., OWASP) and tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Nessus).
  3. Hands-on experience across a variety of security testing engagements.
  4. Understanding of common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten, CWE).
  5. Ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS) is a plus.
  7. Certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, or similar are highly desirable.
