We are currently seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, thrive in a team environment, and possess strong project delivery skills.

About the Role:

Located in our Adelaide CBD office, you will work closely with Senior Engineers and Directors to provide high-quality designs for clients across various sectors. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Producing Fire drawings and documents in line with Australian Standards, codes, and guidelines.
• Overseeing and providing expertise on both active and passive fire designs.
• Managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
• Keeping up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in fire engineering and building services.
• Developing and implementing best practices to improve design quality and efficiency.
• Proficiency in fire and smoke design software tools.
• Writing technical reports.
• Delivering projects on schedule, ensuring technical accuracy.
• Collaborating with clients and other design team members for seamless project delivery.
• Engaging with clients and project stakeholders.
• Conducting site inspections and auditing projects at various stages of construction.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification preferred.
• Experience with fire services design software.
• Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.
• A self-motivated, energetic personality capable of managing deadlines and client expectations.
• The ability to work independently on multiple projects with a high attention to detail.
• Over 5 years of experience in fire engineering for building services, including leadership roles.
• A commitment to continuous improvement.
• A client-focused mindset dedicated to high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and clients.
• A comprehensive understanding of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
• Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating with design engineers and architects.
• Australian residency.
