It is responsible for planning, developing andimplementing an ICT strategy, for setting and enforcing common ICTstandards throughout the Secretariat and for managing central ICTservices. The IAEA's ICT infrastructure comprises hardware andsoftware platforms, and cloud and externally hosted services. TheDivision has implemented an IT service management model based onITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) and Prince2 (Projects in aControlled Environment) best practices.The Client Services Section(CSS) is responsible for setting standards, providing first andsecond level support of the IAEA's desktop computing environment,delivery of the IAEA's IT training programme and promotingclient-oriented services. It designs, manages and implementsdesktop services, including their architecture, processes andpolicies to meet current and future business requirements. It aimsat achieving the delivery of agreed levels of services to clientsin compliance with best practices defined by internationalstandards, in particular ITIL. Main PurposeThe consultant will belocated in the Client Service Section – Services Design Unit. Thepurpose of the consultancy is to enhance the governance structurefor Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and PowerBI. The consultant will design and develop Power Platform solutionsby gathering user requirements, providing technical expertise, andcreating proof-of-concept demonstrations to showcase potentialsolutions. The consultancy includes building and maintaining acomprehensive knowledge base for Power Platform, includingconfiguration settings, licensing details, and advanced governanceconcepts for Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Theconsultant will work on improving the integration of workloads suchas Teams, SharePoint Online, SQL Servers, and OneDrive for Businesswith Power Platform solutions to enhance productivity andcollaboration.Functions / Key Results Expected• Enhance thegovernance structure for Power Platform, including Power Apps,Power Automate, and Power BI. Leverage the CoE Starter Kit forautomation to ensure efficient and compliant operations.• Designand develop Power Platform solutions by gathering userrequirements, providing technical expertise, and creatingproof-of-concept demonstrations to showcase potential solutions.•Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for PowerPlatform, including configuration settings, licensing details, andadvanced governance concepts for Power Apps, Power Automate, andPower BI.• Improve the integration of workloads such as Teams,SharePoint Online, SQL Servers, and OneDrive for Business withPower Platform solutions to enhance productivity andcollaboration.Qualifications and ExperienceUniversity degree inComputer Science, Information Technology or related field.Minimumfive years' experience in developing Solutions with the use ofMicrosoft Power Platform.Expertise and proven knowledge andexperience in the management and governance of the Microsoft PowerPlatform and Office365 application portfolio.Proficiency inMicrosoft Office365 application portfolio and integrationpossibilities with the Power Platform.Industry recognized andrelevant certifications.RemunerationThe remuneration for thisconsultancy is a daily fee of up to a maximum of 375, based onqualifications and experience. In case duty travel is requiredwithin the assignment, a daily subsistence allowance (DSA) andtravel costs are provided.
