About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Administration Trainee to join our team. The successful candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience and training in a fast-paced administrative environment. As an Administration Trainee, you will support various administrative tasks, helping ensure smooth operations across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Support

  • Assisting in day-to-day office operations and providing support to various departments.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation, for employees and senior staff.
  • Organising office supplies and ensuring the office environment is clean and organised.

Administration Assistance

  • Assist with inventory management, keeping track of office stock and placing orders when stock runs low.
  • Handle all boardroom & meeting booking requests.
  • Maintain office cleanliness and organisation to ensure a productive working environment.

Data Entry

  • Input and maintain accurate information into databases, spreadsheets, or other digital platforms.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee data such as personal details, employment history, and payroll information.
  • Review entered data for errors, omissions, or inconsistencies.
  • Assist in generating reports or summaries.

Customer Service/ Reception

  • Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and mail; redirect them to the appropriate department or personnel as needed.
  • Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate staff members in a professional manner.

HR & Recruitment Assistance

  • Support the HR team with recruitment tasks, such as scheduling interviews and assisting with the interview process.
  • Assist with onboarding processes for new hires, including setting up employee files, preparing necessary documentation, and coordinating training schedules.

What we're looking for

  • Completion of Year 11 or Year 12 as a minimum.
  • Previous administrative or office experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness.
  • A basic understanding of office procedures is an advantage but not essential.
  • Driver's licence and own car is essential.
