Responsibilities
  • Design & Maintain Data Analytics Workspace (DAWS)
    • Develop, enhance, and support DAWS, an Azure Machine Learning workspace for data scientists.
  • Develop & Maintain RPMDA Tools
    • Create and improve the RPMDA Python package to simplify interactions with the data platform.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines for processing large-scale digital biomarker sensor data.
  • Support Data Scientist Onboarding
    • Assist new users in accessing and utilizing DAWS effectively.
  • Investigate and fix issues reported by data scientists to ensure smooth data analysis.
  • Participate in Agile Development
    • Actively contribute to Scrum ceremonies and sprint goals.
  • Conduct Code Reviews & Technical Discussions
    • Provide feedback on code quality and engage in deep technical discussions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work closely with DevOps, Data Engineers, Cloud Engineers, and Solution Architects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive DAWS training materials.
  • Ensure Cloud Scalability & Performance
    • Optimize cloud-based infrastructure and ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Implement Best Practices in Software Development
    • Follow industry best practices for clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code.
  • Utilize Git, GitLab, and Azure DevOps to automate deployments and maintain version control.
  • Stay Up to Date with Industry Trends
    • Continuously improve expertise in Python, cloud computing, and data engineering advancements.
Requirements
  • Strong Python Development Expertise
    • Multi-year experience in Python for software development, including libraries like pandas and DASK.
  • Experience with Cloud-Based Solutions
    • Hands-on experience with large-scale cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Ability to design and implement data pipelines for large-scale sensor data analysis.
  • Agile Development Methodologies
    • Experience working with Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum.
  • Version Control & CI/CD Knowledge
    • Proficiency in Git, GitLab, and CI/CD solutions for automated testing and deployment.
  • Containerization & Orchestration
    • Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for scalable application deployment.
  • Database Management Skills
    • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Strong Problem-Solving & Debugging Skills
    • Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Software Engineering Best Practices
    • Familiarity with clean code principles, unit testing, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
    • Capable of handling multiple priorities while delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Training & Documentation Experience
    • Ability to create technical documentation and provide training to users.
  • Strong communication skills in English for working in an international environment.

  • Background in Clinical Data & Digital Biomarkers
    • Familiarity with clinical data workflows and digital biomarker analysis is a plus.
