We are in the hunt for great people like YOU to become Restaurant Managers and join our Zam fam at our restaurants Two management positions are available at our Ascot and Cloverdale stores.

About Us

We are Zambrero, Australia's largest Mexican franchise offering healthy, fresh food while fighting world hunger. We are quick-service restaurants that offer tasty burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos filled with home-made guac and other goodies. For you, that means you will always work with yummy fresh ingredients that won't leave you smelling like you just came from work. Our restaurants are open day and night so you can be flexible and keep up with your work, school, and play.

But we are not just a healthy quick-service restaurant We also donate one meal to someone in need for every bowl or burrito bought at Zambrero through our Plate 4 Plate initiative.

What you'll do

As one of our Managers, you will take pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile. You are also responsible for setting the highest standard in all areas of the restaurant including the customer experience, the workplace culture, and the financial results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Managing your team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, rostering, and resolving any employee issues including grievances.
  • Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard.
  • Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers.
  • Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll, and reviewing policies.
  • Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room, and general restaurant.
  • Ensuring safety and security standards are recognized and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety.
