Tasks

As Full-Stack AI Developer (m/f/x), you'll help companies on their AI journey.

Your tasks as Full-Stack AI Developer (m/f/x):

  • Backend Development: Implementation and maintenance of backend services, primarily in Python (FastAPI), to support AI tools and RAG systems.
  • Database Management: Adjusting and managing databases (PostgreSQL) for efficient storage and processing of data.
  • Document Extraction: Development of solutions for extracting content from various document formats (e.g., PDF, MS Office).
  • Docker Containerization: Deployment of applications in Docker containers.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Conducting automated and manual tests to verify the quality of search and LLM results.
  • Collaboration with the AI Team: Supporting the AI team in integrating and deploying AI solutions and machine learning models into existing systems.
  • Support and Troubleshooting: Assisting with the resolution of technical issues during the development and integration of AI tools and models.
  • Optional: CI/CD Support: Assisting with the CI/CD pipeline (GitLab, Jenkins), if required.
  • Optional: Model Training: Training models based on sample data.
Requirements

What you should bring:

Must:

  • Experience in Backend Development: Solid knowledge of Python, particularly FastAPI.
  • Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Docker Experience: Ability to create and optimize Docker containers.
  • Knowledge of Document Extraction: Experience with extracting content from various document formats.
  • Testing Experience: Solid experience in implementing and conducting automated tests as well as manual quality control.
  • Language Skill: Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.

Optional:

  • Understanding of RAG Systems: Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems or Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.
  • Frontend Development Experience: Knowledge of Angular or other modern frontend frameworks.
  • Experience with NGINX: Knowledge in configuring web servers, particularly NGINX.
  • Experience with Open-Source and Cloud-based AI Models: Familiarity with the integration of OpenAI and open-source models (e.g., LLAMA-3.1).
  • Language Skills: Good German skills, both written and spoken.

Nice-to-have:

  • Container Orchestration Knowledge: Experience with tools like Rancher, Kubernetes, or similar platforms for managing and deploying containerized applications.
  • Frontend Design Experience: UX/UI design knowledge to improve user experience.
  • Experience working with GPUs: (e.g., NVIDIA) for model training.
