About the Opportunity

Following an internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for a Technical Services Manager to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Mining Manager and work on an 8:6, 4:3 roster (or equivalent).

Your focus will be on overseeing underground mining activities, managing planning, surveying, and geotechnical teams to prioritise resources and support production.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and leading the team by setting performance objectives and ensuring statutory and safety compliance.
  • Coordinating mining and development activities in alignment with daily plans and operational targets.
  • Supporting the Mining Manager in delivering mine design plans and rolling schedules to achieve budgeted outcomes and long-term goals.
  • Ensuring technical processes and mine design protocols are followed to safely deliver operational plans.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and cost savings across the operation.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and conducting daily safety reviews to maintain a safe working environment.
About You

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in the mining industry, specialising in mining or geotechnical engineering and possessing experience in underground environments.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in mining or geotechnical engineering.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead teams in delivering executable mine plans and schedules.
  • Strong experience and background in mine technical services.
  • Proficiency in a range of mine scheduling and design software.
  • Current C-class manual driver's licence.
