About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Strategy, the successful candidate will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives for Defence Health. This position involves analysing market trends, competitive dynamics, and internal data to develop actionable insights and strategy recommendations that contribute to the growth and sustainability of the organisation.

The Senior Strategy Manager will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to implement strategic priorities and optimise operational efficiencies.

About You

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Management or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in strategy, business/commercial strategy roles.
  • Strategic Leadership: ability to think strategically and drive cross-functional alignment towards achieving business goals.
  • Analytical Excellence: strong analytical skills with experience in financial modelling, data analysis, reporting/dashboard (e.g. BI) and business case development to inform decisions.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business and commercial acumen with ability to assess market desirability and viability of opportunities.
  • Communication and Presentation: Ability to develop clear and compelling business presentations or reports.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to contribute effectively as a participative team member within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Organisational Skills: Demonstrated prioritisation, time-management, and planning skills.
