What You'll Do

  1. Analyze and test electrical related components and modules to establish operating data
  2. Define, set up and conduct experimental tests
  3. Generate or improve automated test environments
  4. Evaluate, document and present the test results
  5. Investigate and improve existing electrical modules and systems
Who We're Looking For

  1. Advanced student of HTL in the field of Electronic or Electrical Engineering or similar
Preferred Qualifications

  1. Knowledge in collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of test data
  2. Knowledge in usage of programming languages and other systems for automated tests
  3. Demonstrate technical independence.
  4. Excellent IT knowledge, e.g. MS Windows, MS Office products
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Desired start: July 2025

Internship duration: 8 weeks

Compensation

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry, according to the education level. Minimum gross monthly Salaries for

Fulltime Internship Employment Are Therefore

  1. 1.182,65 EUR (2 Lj./Tab I) - students without Matura under 18 years old
  2. 1.502,68 EUR (2 Lj./Tab II) - students without Matura and above 18 years old

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Employment in Austria

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise, education, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
