The Role

We're looking for a Senior Partner Engineer to be at the forefront of real-world blockchain adoption. This role uniquely combines deep engineering skills with great interpersonal skills and plays a key part in our strategy to onboard the next billion users.

This position is fully remote.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Be a goal-oriented developer, diving deeply into our codebase to solve problems spanning our smart contracts to our core node.
  2. Conduct independent research in your area of ownership, design, implement, and document partner-oriented solutions to our core technology.
  3. Combine great engineering skills with great interpersonal skills to onboard the biggest companies in both Web3 and Web2.
  4. Collaborate closely and often with core engineers, product, business, and external development entities in order to affect change.
  5. Develop a strong understanding of the value zkSync brings to the world derived by a true mastery of the technology.
  6. Help partners dive into the ZK Stack and design their products.
  7. Work with DeFi Blue Chips to help them deploy on zkSync Era.

What We Look For in You

  1. 3+ years in backend software development and a deep understanding of software engineering best practices and architectures.
  2. Experience in Web3 and a track record of success.
  3. Passion for our mission to advance personal freedom for all.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Ownership mindset.
  6. An understanding of Merkle Trees.
  7. Excellent understanding of Ethereum.
  8. Ability to thrive solo thinking through complex problems just as much as collaborating with partners.
  9. Fluency in written and spoken English.
  10. Extra points: understanding of the EVM, experience with dev tools, experience building protocols, experience with rust.
