Our dedicated and high performing team offers whole-of-life vehicle and mobile plant management, from procurement, lease management, and disposal, to scheduled and unscheduled servicing, maintenance, and defect management.
As Fleet Manager you will use your effective management and strategic leadership to drive operational excellence within your delivery portfolio. You will form robust relationships with key (internal) customers and the wider Fleet team to promote Fleet services, ensure optimal performance of assets and return on investment.
About the role
- Maximising fleet utilisation by providing informed advice and support to customers
- Foster a strong culture of safety and compliance
- Collaborating with Senior Management to align fleet operations with strategic goals and lead change initiatives
- Developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships through developing a deep understanding of the customer base and providing regular updates to Senior Management.
- Perform regular review of asset performance; identify improvement opportunities and manage maintenance schedules to minimise downtime
- Using Data insights for operational optimisation
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in fleet, hire or relevant industry environment
- Proven experience in relationship management with a strong customer service ethic
- Diploma - Business management/Fleet management
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external customers and suppliers
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, business development, and successfully implementing process improvements.
- Strong business acumen, project management, analytical and negotiation skills preferred
- High levels of verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate with a wide variety of people at all levels of the organisation
- Ability to react flexibly when dealing with unexpected problems and changes in priorities and ability to help others accept and adapt
- The flexibility to travel and stay away from home as required
