We are a young deep-tech company that creates and produces internationally awarded smart glasses. Our headquarters is in Vienna, where we develop and manufacture both the hardware and the software of the smart glasses. From research & development, engineering, production to marketing and sales - we offer everything from a single source under one roof. This will give you exciting insights into other departments of the company. Although we have our roots in Austria, we are "born global" and work with customers and sales partners all over the world.

Tasks- Take ownership of all finance operations—accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting—ensuring everything runs smoothly without micromanagement.
- Identify gaps, improve processes, and implement solutions proactively—if you see something that can be done better, we want you to take the lead.
- Ensure financial compliance and optimize internal controls without unnecessary bureaucracy.
- Provide clear and actionable financial insights to management, supporting strategic decisions with data-driven input.
- Offload key finance tasks from our Head of Finance, taking responsibility and driving initiatives forward independently.
- Work closely with other departments (Sales, Operations, Product) to align financial planning with business needs.
- Manage relationships with external partners such as tax advisors, auditors, and banks with full autonomy.
- Support funding and investment activities when needed, taking ownership of financial modeling and business case calculations.
- A strong finance background with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-growing company or start-up.
- A self-starter mentality—you take responsibility, make decisions, and drive initiatives without waiting for instructions.
- A problem-solving mindset—you don’t just report issues, you fix them.
- Experience with hands-on accounting, financial planning, and cash flow management.
- Familiarity with start-up dynamics, including lean finance structures and fast decision-making.
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to create financial models that drive business growth.
- Fluency in German and English.
