Join our Certificates & Equity Trading Tribe Weare developing and operating software solutions for RBI’sCertificates and Equity and market making business.As anApplication Specialist you will play a key role in furtherdeveloping and operating our Market Making Platform and providesolutions for Trading and Sales activities. You will work closelywith colleagues in various IT teams but also with Product Ownersand business colleagues.The successful candidate will beresponsible for maintaining the applications, implementing businessand IT requirements, and managing security requirements. As anApplication Specialist, you will work closely with ourInfrastructure Team and maintain the high quality of ourinfrastructure and application setup and processes. Yourmission at RBI:Shape an efficient, modern, and high-qualityapplication setup and ensure security-requirements areintegrated.Efficiently manage server, firewall and connectivitydemands in accordance with system specifications and IT processframework.Collaborate with Software Developers, Business Analysts,Infrastructure Specialists and Product Owner to achieve the productobjectives.Coordinate 3rd party providers and connectivity toinstitutional clients.Conduct thorough analysis and testing ofapplications prior to their deployment to the productionenvironment.Efficiently and fast troubleshoot issues tomaintain a productive work environment.Your core competencies:Deepknow how of LINUX administration, preferably RedHatScripting skillslike bash, power shellGood understanding of Security Concepts andVulnerability ManagementBasic understanding of DR/BCMConceptsExperience in Backend and Frontend Application Managementideally in a Banking or Capital Markets environmentPracticalknowledge in daily Application Operations and MonitoringKnowledgeof infrastructure administration is a clear advantage e.g. Network& Routing, Firewall administration, virtual environmentsWhat’sit it for you: Flexible work week: Flexible hours,work-from-home options from Austria, and 30 days/year remote workfrom any EU country.
