Your Assignment | As the Department Purchasing Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supplier relationships across all categories.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and terms, and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and inventory management, to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry dynamics to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and innovation.
- Oversee procurement processes and systems, ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
