We are looking for an Assistant Account Executive who will shadow and work with our Senior Brokers with a view to transitioning into a Senior Broking role in the future. No insurance experience is necessary as we will train the right person.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the banking or finance industry; no insurance experience necessary but would be an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to ensure you can provide our clients with the high level of service that they expect.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • A team player but also able to use your initiative and work autonomously.
  • A positive, friendly and happy attitude.
  • Willingness to obtain the necessary insurance qualifications.

About the Role

The role will involve the following:

  • Working closely with Senior Account Executives to manage client insurance portfolios.
  • Negotiating with Insurers for cover placement.
  • Remarketing of renewals for existing clients, ensuring policies are renewed on time and that coverage remains appropriate for their requirements.
  • Processing and preparation of documentation to clients and underwriters.
  • Ensuring all client & insurer interactions are documented and saved in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Salary is negotiable based on experience.
