Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic systems and components for medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and reliability analyses for electronic systems.
- Collaborate with other engineers to integrate electronic systems with mechanical and software components.
- Lead the testing and validation of electronic components and systems, including bench testing, verification, and validation activities.
- Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs teams.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to medical device electronics.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and development of electronic systems for medical devices.
- Proficiency in Altium CAD software for schematic capture and PCB layout design.
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, sensors, and wireless communication protocols.
- Experience with software development for embedded systems (C/C++, Python, etc.).
- Familiarity with design control processes and medical device risk management.
- Experience with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, IEC 60601, ISO , and FDA regulations for medical devices.
- Experience with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and mitigation techniques.
