Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic systems and components for medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and reliability analyses for electronic systems.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to integrate electronic systems with mechanical and software components.
  • Lead the testing and validation of electronic components and systems, including bench testing, verification, and validation activities.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs teams.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to medical device electronics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in the design and development of electronic systems for medical devices.
  • Proficiency in Altium CAD software for schematic capture and PCB layout design.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, sensors, and wireless communication protocols.
  • Experience with software development for embedded systems (C/C++, Python, etc.).
  • Familiarity with design control processes and medical device risk management.
  • Experience with regulatory standards such as ISO 13485, IEC 60601, ISO , and FDA regulations for medical devices.
  • Experience with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and mitigation techniques.
