Fmea Specialist

• CycloTech GmbH is a technology company with startup character in Linz. With our CycloRotors, we develop a new, sustainable, highly manoeuvrable, and environmentally accepted eVTOL propulsion solution for the 21st century. We reinvent flying and make individual air mobility as normal as driving a car opening the sky for everyone.

In this role you will lead the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis of CycloRotors and derive reliability requirements from this analysis.

With your knowledge and experience, you will act as a Moderator of failure mode and effect analysis on new and existing product programs and processes.

• Build up the FMEA activity at CycloTech and be responsible for the implementation of all necessary actions into the local organization
• Training of the Engineering teams on the methods and the specific Software used to create FMEA
• Schedule FMEA meetings in collaboration with FMEA owners and ensure the proper FMEA methodology is used
• Moderate FMEA meetings
• Act as an interface person to transfer expertise and knowledge between the different development teams
• Maintain digital based documentation
• Coordinate with the Prototype &Testing department to ensure proper testing of failure modes developed on the FMEA
• Evaluate the risks of the projects in the FMEA and, if needed, present them internally or externally (e.g. as OEM)

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in the methods of FMEA creation
• Qualification as an FMEA-Moderator
• Knowledge of ARP4754a and ARP7461 is a plus
• Office experience and reporting skill: MS Excel, Word, PPT
• Strong communication, leadership skill & critical thinking
• Fluent English is a must. Knowledge of German would be beneficial.
