Our amazing team has the responsibility for Cyber & Information Security Management in Erste Group Bank AG and all related Austrian subsidiaries.

We are one big security family and work closely together with our cyber defense center and international entities.

Your Tasks:

  • Learn to become a security hero (all genders) supporting projects in the CISO team
  • Promoting cyber security by designing and executing awareness measures (Phishing Simulations, Awareness Games, Trainings,)
  • Partner with external and internal key stakeholders to ensure our security strategy and compliance
  • Support to drive business with security gap analyses, consulting, and harmonization initiatives
  • Support in defining security concepts for new technologies and regulations (e.g. cloud, DORA, SOAR and other upcoming buzzwords)
  • Keep current with new developments in the cyber security area including advisories, malware, vulnerabilities, and other attack vectors and learn how to evaluate their potential business impact
  • Work collaboratively and learn with Austria's biggest internal security team to keep our customers secure

Your Background:

  • Specific Cyber/Information Security education or IT related education (e.g. computer science, communication engineering)
  • Some practical experience in the field of information security and open to learn from our experts
  • Knowhow in current information security standards & best practices
  • Interest in current cyberattack methods and prevention methods
  • Proactive, independent, and willing to learn & develop further within an experienced team
  • Language skills: Fluent in English, German is an asset

  • The minimum wage for this fulltime position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 36.514;
